butane teams up with andras toth for the *elements of truth* ep, set to be released via butanes very own alphahouse imprint. andrew rasse aka butane, launched the alphahouse imprint back in 2005 amidst the minimal explosion, working with the likes of troy pierce and quenum in the early stages. now, looking back on how things have progressed and seeing the imprint reach a thirty-release milestone here, the label has made quite the standing in its time, releasing cuts from luminaries such as skudge, ricardo villalobos and ion ludwig to name a few. here we see andras toth return to the label with the duos second collaborative ep following *futures* back in 2011.

end of level boss is a joint project from cyclonix and tusk wax celebrating the world of video game tech-nostalgia through electronic music. the label follows up its debut ganondorf ep, with the scorpion ep, named after the resurrected ninja from mortal kombat, who is the games greatest anti-hero, with the battle cry -vengeance will be mine-. the scorpion ep features tracks by si murray (of deep space orchestra) under his mogadishu young team persona, label boss cyclonix, and producers robert s and nant rouge.

emotional especial gathers pace with an eighth release from richard sen, a man whose cultured touch has had a hand in various strands of the uk underground for the past two decades. graffiti artist, graphic designer, music curator, dj and producer are all vocations richard sen has done at one point or another. here he goes solo with the ghost train ep, a dark and brooding release of old school meets new school house jack that takes its cues from 80s new york, italian house and the nascent uk acid house that sen himself documented with aplomb on a 2012 compilation for strut. naggingly familiar samples and a low slung box jam groove drive the spectral title cut forward, whilst sens mastery of delay is shown with aplomb on the dub version that closes out the record. nestled in between is the highlight however in *meteor shower* where discoid basslines merge with psychedelically charged keys and hollowed out steppers percussion.

strictly ltd to 100 copies! introducing charmin records. a new vinyl only label out of east germany started by long time dj and producer florist. the vision of the label is to release quality, underground house and techno by friends and fellow music evangelists on vinyl. the first release teams up producers tilman and florist for their first collaboration together and the result is a well rounded collections of quality house music focussed on the dancefloor. the ep kicks off with >sunday roll< which is a deep, laid back excursion into >proper< house music. the track is underpinned by solid percussion with easy rhodes and piano chords weaving in and out of distant vocal samples. the emphasis here is on warmth and soul. >blind< is a more heads down affair, with energetic drum patterns and a lovely, well rounded bass that bumps its way through the track. >i cant stop< takes us into more stripped down territory, with a rough edge to it. finally >deep reflection< pairs up dreamy, reverb washed chords with a heavy, unrelenting rhythm section. with this ep charmin records look to lay out their stall and show the public what is to come from this exciting new label.

producer mark e hails from the west midlands, an area of the uk that was at the heart of the industrial revolution and was also hit hardest by the decline of uk industry in the 1970s, and again by the economic crisis of our own time. its an area with a distinct sound and atmosphere, one that manifests in the music of artists as diverse as black sabbath and the specials, and one that plays into many of the ideas behind mark es new record product of industry.

last summer, you could barely escape the wide-eyed charms of *late train*, the epic second single from paul murphy and quinn lukes all-star balearic rock outfit. following its release on claremont 56 last may, the song became the soundtrack to sweltering afternoons by the mediterranean and lazy boat parties in the adriatic. 10 months on, the blissfully baggy original is given a new lease of life thanks to a swathe of new remixes.

after his mobilee debut, sebo k has continued to release quality records with regularity on the label year after year. spirits, mr. duke, and diva all received critical acclaim, while finding their way into record bags far and wide. this only propelled sebo k even farther as he became an in demand artist for remixes and club appearances.

basaec is the new label from lucien nicolet, aka luciano, the chilean dj and producer behind the cadenza records label (recently celebrating its tenth year in operation), and an artist always on the cusp of new musical frontiers. promising the label to be a very true representation of the man and his music, and with another nine releases planned over the coming year, the label will be both a vehicle for brand new music, as well as an imprint to release tracks from the archives.

maeve is the record label run by three close friends, mano le tough, the drifter and baikal. maeve 04 is the drifter s debut on the label, and his first original music since late 2012 for permanent vacation. again showcases a tougher side to his productions. the again ep consists of 2 tracks, both aimed firmly at the dancefloor. again is a rolling 10 minute trip, with some twists and turns along the way. blocks with its tougher, ahem, blockier beats and soaring synths is a more upfront affair.

its now almost two years since german producer sawlin made his debut on ann aimee, but now he is back for a third ep on the delsin sister label. entitled niedertracht, it features four more tracks of searing techno in truly uncompromising sawlin style.

act 100 contains a raw and strong beat that travels through cosmic and epic soundscapes.
as conclusion, act 63 is characterized by emotional melancholic melodies and brain-dance music, accompanied by succession of rousing rhythmic evolutions.
